European Oak
General description: This Hardwood is light tan to biscuit colour, and due to its broad rays has a characteristic silver grain figure on quartered surfaces. Usually straight grained, but irregular and cross grained material may occur depending on growth conditions.
Strength: Well known high strength properties, with good steam bending classification.
Durability: Durable

General description: Rich dark brown complexion, mostly straight-grained but with wavy grain occasionally present.
Strength: A tough, hard timber of medium density, with moderate bending and crushing strength. It has good steam bending classification and works without difficulty when using hand or machine tools.

General description: Varying in colour from very pale pink to light red/brown with an interlocked and wavy grain. End grain surfaces may show tangential lines of white resin.
Strength: Medium bending and crushing strengths, Works well with machined and hand tools ensuring a good finish.

General description: Golden-orange to brown coloured, lighter vessel lines are conspicuous on flat sawn surfaces. It has an interlocked grain sometimes becoming irregular.

General Description: Predominantly very light in colour ranging from white to pale olive green to brown. It is straight grained and of even texture.
